Drug IntermediatesOne of the things we produce at the GIDC plant is called drug intermediates. It is a piperazine derivative and acetaminophen's structural equivalent. Its multi-step production employing p-aminophenol and bis-(2-chloroethyl)amine hydrochloride as starter materials has been documented. One acetyl-4-(4-octadecyloxyphenyl)piperazine may be made using it. Moreover, it can be utilised to create ketoconazole, 1,2,4-triazole, and thiazole analogues in a multi-step process.
